Announcement of DeviceHive Playground Shutdown

Dear DeviceHive Community,

We want to thank you for your ongoing support and for exploring our open-source IoT platform, DeviceHive. The DeviceHive Playground, our free testing environment, has been instrumental in helping users evaluate and experiment with DeviceHive capabilities.

However, after careful consideration, we have decided to discontinue the DeviceHive Playground service as of Jan 15, 2025. This decision allows us to focus our resources on improving the core DeviceHive platform and delivering more robust features to meet your IoT needs.

What does this mean

DeviceHive 4.0 released

The DeviceHive team is super-excited to share some updates we have developed over the last year. We know it’s been a while, but our open-source IoT platform is better than ever because we bring a perfect combination of cloud, customization, convenience, and data management functions.
We are delighted to announce that we have released a new version of DeviceHive. This version brings major improvements that align DeviceHive with the most advanced development environment to unleash your creativity and problem-solving skills.
